Set Up:
- Create a 25 x 25 yard grid and play 4 v 4 with two neutrals.
- The neutral players are always on the attacking team, creating a 6 v 4 game.
- Teams get a point for making four consecutive passes.
- The game can progress to a two touch restriction, depending on the ability of players.
- Play for 3 minutes, and the neutrals switch out after each game.
Coaching Points:
- As soon as the ball is won, players off the ball need to make the field bigger. The more space you have, the more time you will have to make a decision once you receive it.
- Look over your shoulder and open up your body to see all options available before receiving a pass.
- Communicate verbally and non-verbally to make sure you and your teammates are on the same page.
- Speed of play. How fast can you play while still being in control?
